Finally,
hands-on practice.
The university diploma gave you theory, taxonomy, and classifications. What it didn't give you: holding the punch, loading the CHOI implanter pen, and feeling scalp resistance under your fingers.
You perform part of the procedure yourself — supervised step-by-step by your instructor.
Training
strictly for physicians
Hair transplantation is a medical surgical procedure. This training is strictly reserved for licensed physicians — all other healthcare professions are excluded.
Mandatory prerequisites: Must be a licensed physician — RPPS number (or medical license equivalent) required upon registration. No exceptions.
University Diploma in Hair Transplantation is recommended but not mandatory — this hands-on training complements university theoretical coursework.
Aesthetic Physicians
You already offer hair treatments (mesotherapy, PRP) and want to integrate CHOI transplantation to complete your service offering and deliver high-value procedures.
Specialized General Practitioners
You completed the Hair Restoration Day and want to go all the way — mastering the benchmark surgical technique in hair restoration.
Surgeons
You want to expand your scope of practice to hair restoration surgery and master the CHOI technique — the gold standard for natural results.
Physicians Already Trained in FUE
You perform conventional FUE and want to transition to the CHOI technique — more precise, less invasive, with faster patient recovery.

What you
need to know
Is a university diploma (DU) in hair transplantation mandatory?
No. While a DU is recommended, it is not mandatory. This practical training complements theoretical university education. It is strictly reserved for licensed physicians (valid medical registration number required).
How does the hands-on practice on real patients work?
On Day 1, you observe a complete hair transplant performed by Dr. Freiss without intervening. On Days 2 and 3, you practice on a model patient recruited by us, under the direct supervision of Dr. Freiss, who corrects every move in real time.
How many grafts will I implant?
You will perform a complete hair transplant over the 2 practical days, representing between 1,500 and 2,500 grafts depending on the model patient's case. This is sufficient to master the entire workflow.
Why the CHOI technique rather than classic FUE?
The CHOI implanter pen allows implantation without prior incisions, offering optimal control over angle, depth, and direction. The result looks more natural, healing is faster, and density is higher.
Are the 3 days consecutive?
Ideally yes, as Days 2 and 3 involve the same patient. Adjustments can be discussed based on your circumstances.
Where can I stay during the training?
Accommodation is not included. The clinic is located at 29 rue Bayen in the 17th arrondissement, right next to the Ternes / Étoile district. Contact us after registration for our recommendations.
